An Update (Beauty & Life)
And just like that, it's 2022 - said in my best Carrie Bradshaw voice. While I'm not writing this from my gorgeous NY apartment with a jewellery designer/model living downstairs, I am writing this from my sunny living room in small town Tasmania, where we have had the most amazing Summer weather in years!
I gotta say - most of the last few months have involved plenty drinks on our deck, home renovations (inside and out) and bingeing Succession, Emily in Paris, Vanderpump Rules and After Life 3, beauty is still on my mind with lots of new favourites to share with you.
First up, I have been using my selfcare social skin LED Light Therapy Mask religiously along with Active Collagen Vanilla Collagen Powder (so yummy) each morning, which I've really been enjoying; both the rituals themselves and the visible results.
My toothy pegs are still so white and glossy a month or so after my trial of hismile teeth whitening strips, and I've been wearing Kosas Sports Lip Fuel in Flow and Natrium's Phyto-Glow Lip Balm in all the shades to really show them off.
Thanks to the mask mandate that has finally made the way down to Tasmania, makeup has been extremely minimal of late - just a tinted moisturiser and mascara most days - but I do still have some new makeup faves to mention: Tower 28 Beauty Beach Please Luminous Tinted Balm - Power Hour in Power Hour and matching Tower 28 Beauty Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer in West Coast are simply sublime. I have Rainier Cramer to thank for my Tower 28 obsession, her video FULL FACE OF TOWER 28 BEAUTY | New Tower 28 Tinted Sunscreen Review cemented my need to have all the T28 products, but my bank account tells me it's one at a time for now.
Skincare has remained as it was last year, but I did run out of my Natrium Vitamin C Complex Serum last week so now I'm using Allies of Skin 20% Vitamin C Brighten + Firm Serum, which feels lovely on the skin and seems to be working well so far!
Currently on my wish list is Bare Hands The Dry Gloss Manicure Kit (self explanatory) and any Ilia lip products, one can almost never have enough.
