Memorable Beauty Moments from 2022
I had the best intentions to write regularly for the last few months, but as life would have it - I didn't. However, I'm feeling inspired to jot down some thoughts today so I thought I'd run through some memorable moments or discoveries from 2022. Whether it was a product, treatment or service - I wanna share!
Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm in Poppy: Such a shiny and glossy balm with zero stickiness. Perfect worn on it's own or with a lipstick underneath.
Floral Street's Arizona Bloom: So good I've bought it twice! It gives '70's vibes of Palm Springs to me while the website describes it as 'a dry floral amber, this vegan perfume is freedom and happiness in a bottle...think endless skies and eternal sunshine. A sprinkling of Balinese coconut meets salted musks with a shot of Madagascan black pepper - this is a slow scent delivering you right back to nature.'
Regular brow lamination and lash lifts: The easiest way to always feel groomed and save time in the morning. I'm addicted.
Medik8 Crystal Retinal: From a retinol/retinal newbie level 3 and 6 in 2021/22, Emily will graduate to 10 in 2023. Vitamin A is the gold standard in skincare for a reason, just ask every derm!
Naturium Multi-Calm Cream Cleanser: I started going back to basics with skincare in 2022 and this cleanser ticks all the boxes. Gentle, milky, and lush with zero residue left behind and leaves my skin feeling happy as can be. I've gone through almost 3 jars so far! Also Naturium's The Smoother Glycolic Acid Body Wash deserves a special mention, the only thing that has visibly improved the KP on my arms.

Lip Filler: I've had a quite few treatments over the last few years, but 2022 was the year I achieved my dream lips. My inspiration was Allana Davison (think fluffy and full clouds) and I couldn't be happier.
Dior Nail Glow: The laziest way to a pretty manicure DIY-style. Try it and thank me later.
Current Body LED Mask: I will be honest and say I was given this mask, but if you're in the market for a results-driven at-home treatment, look no further than this. Every time I use this (alternate nights to Crystal Retinal), I see results. I mean, if it's good enough for Kaley Cuoco....
Regular facials: As I mentioned earlier, I started going back to basics with skincare and with the help of my facialist, I've reduced all unnecessary (for my skin) products and my skin has never felt more content. Plus my facialist can see results, so that's even better.
Now it's your turn, share with me what you loved in 2022 below in the comments!
