Add These to Your Beauty To-Do-List in 2022
Can you believe it? I mean, how can 2021 almost be over already? Life feels busier than ever, but at least we always have the wonderful world of beauty for our moments of selfcare, relaxation or just a luxurious new lipstick that makes us smile.
Speaking of a new year, here are some things to consider trying out in 2022:
- Give your hair the TLC it deserves. I know myself that I give my skin alllll the love in the world but often neglect my hair, and most days it just gets tied up in a bun. I’m committing to regular hair masks and haircuts/trims in 2022, which reminds me I also must get better at taking hair and skin supplements regularly too! The proof is in the pudding with those, a little investment for a great reward.
- Why not book in for that treatment you have always wanted to try but kept postponing? For me, that’s microneedling - I think it’s the fear of the unknown - but the before and afters are so incredible, it’s convinced me I need to try it! Skin needling is performed with a dermal pen and is great at encouraging new collagen growth, lessening the appearance of fine lines (yes please!) and reducing pigmentation from sun damage. Sign me up pronto!
- Give up shaving and/or waxing with laser hair removal. Laser hair removal machines have come a long way in the past few years, with the process being virtually painless and extremely quick! Imagine never shaving your legs or under your arms again …

- Overhaul your skincare cabinet and makeup drawer. How many things are you holding onto but never use/used once with a bad experience/or will just never ever use? Donate these if you can, gift to a family member or friend if hygienic or just bin it. It’s so liberating, remember less is more, and cleaning out the junk is always soothing to the soul.
- Going cruelty-free/vegan/be more sustainable/less wasteful. It’s never too late to make a difference to your world, our world, and our furry friends.
- Wear SPF every day. I’m a broken record I know, but after my mothers battle with melanoma, it became a non-negotiable for me. The best sunscreen is the one you’ll use, period.
