Life recently

For someone who has lived in Tasmania for all but 18 months of 37 years, I’m pretty embarrassed to share that I’ve barely travelled within my own back yard - considering how beautiful Tasmania really is. My husband and I organised a week’s leave from work and enjoyed a quick but oh-so-sweet staycation at The Keep.

Full disclosure, this was definitely a splurge but hand on heart - the most incredible experience I’ve ever had. 1000% worth the investment.

From the space itself and the view, all the way to the smallest touches like a loaf of homemade bread with butter on arrival and a luxurious bath soak for the outside - and inside! - bath, The Keep is magical. We’re literally talking about a 3-story castle with a full stocked pantry of gourmet goods, alcohol both provided and available for purchase, luxurious bed linen including the most sublime pillow I’ve ever felt and so much more. Set on 250 acres of private bushland near in Tassie’s far-northeast, the silence and seclusion was a total detachment from this modern world we live in.

Because words won’t do this place any justice, I’ll let the photos do the talking »»

Best holiday ever.

Where was your most memorable trip, I’d love to know!

Til next time, take care of you x
