After what is already feeling like a longggg winter, a quick weekend in Melbourne was just what the doctor ordered. A few weeks ago, my husband and I along with my brother and mum flew from Tasmania to Melbourne on a Saturday morning and returned Monday mid-afternoon. We ate too much, drank yummy cocktails, they watched the AFL and I got beauty treatments - perfection.

I had an incredible blow out and bang trim at Aery Salon, and flawless aura nails done at the Japanese nail salon Fujiko Beauty in the CBD. We had a few drinks at The Den Basement Cocktail Bar at Crown, and went upstairs to play around on all the machines. Of course, I did end up grabbing a po' boy on our way home ….
